Shortlisting & Meetings: WC 25th August 2025

Appointed by: 1st September 2025

Welsh National Theatre is inviting Expressions of Interest from accountancy firms to become our accountants. This is a key opportunity to partner with a brand new, mission-led, creative, Welsh charitable incorporated organisation.

About Us

Welsh National Theatre creates world-class theatre from Wales and takes it to the world.  We are based in Swansea and we’re currently working on our debut season of programming, and  building a home for exceptional Welsh talent from writers and actors to producers and technicians — where ambitious stories of Wales’ past, present and future can come to life.

As a new and fast-growing charity, we’re building a lean operating model to support our vision of creative excellence and optimising our resources for our creative work.  We know what we’re good at and we want you for what you’re good at.

What We’re Looking For

A Wales-based, ideally Swansea-based, organisation that aligns with our values and is capable of working with us as we scale from start up mode to a fully operational and compliant national theatre, producing two productions per year, with a multi-million pound turnover.  Our operation will be small so we’re looking for a partner who can offer a fully outsourced model initially, with the potential to transition some services in-house over time.
